Wow!  This is cool.

For those of you who know me, you've heard me rave about my experiences with virtual reality since I bought an HTC Vive a few months ago.   I think it's the best experience on the market and it just keeps getting better and better.

Today was the best.  Google released an app for Google Earth VR and it is mind blowing.  Tonight, I was sitting in the middle of my living room but it felt like I was flying all over the world including Paris, New York City, San Francisco, and perhaps weirdest of all for me, directly in front of my childhood home. 

I floated all around Niagra Falls, the great pyramids in Egypt, and Devil's Tower in Wyoming.  It was very surreal and I stayed up an hour past my bed time enjoying it.  If you haven't experienced the HTC Vive yet, make arrangements to do so and check this out.  You will be amazed!

Chicago Cubs Win World Series - 360 Degree Video Outside Wrigley Field

On April 21 in the 2016 season, the Cubs hit five home runs, winning 16–0 against the Cincinnati Reds with Arrieta pitching the second no-hitter of his career. By May 5's sweep of the Pirates and then the Nationals, the Cubs had started the year with a record of 24–6 in their first 30 games. The Cubs ended the 2016 regular season with a record of 103-58, the first time they have won over 100 games in a season since 1910, and secured the NL Central title. They advanced to the NLDS to face the wild card Giants, and defeated them in four games. The Cubs then clinched the pennant for the first time since 1945 by defeating the Dodgers in six games. On November 3, 2016, in a game that was scheduled for November 2, 2016 and ran past midnight, the Cubs won the 2016 World Series, defeating the Cleveland Indians in seven games and ending the Curse of the Billy Goat.
